Use case
An office building gets a new ventilated façade. Instead of aluminium panels, the opaque areas are clad with LIGHT Pro Facade modules in Slate Gray.
From the street the façade reads as one uniform grey cladding, and the energy it generates goes to the building’s common areas and EV chargers.
How it works
Looks like cladding
Coloured enamel glass hides the cells. Five standard colours, plus custom colours and stone-grain finishes for LIGHT Pro facade.
Built like a façade panel
Glazed glass, interlayer, cells, interlayer, glass and a metal strengthening structure. Fixed with embedded nuts and bolts.
Tested as a curtain wall
The manufacturer reports 15.4 kPa static wind pressure, Class A fire rating, air tightness EN A4 and water tightness RE in EN/BS curtain wall tests.
