Real-life example
Anna comes home with her hands full. As she walks up to the stairwell station, the proximity sensor wakes the camera. The station recognises her face and opens the door; a photo held up to the camera will not fool it.
A moment later a guest dials flat 0201 on the screen. Anna sees him on her monitor and lets him in with one touch.
How it works
Face with liveness check
The dual camera recognises faces and checks that a real person, not a photo, is standing in front of it. The station wakes recognition when someone approaches.
Card, code and call
Residents open with a proximity card or PIN code; visitors dial the flat or the gatehouse on the large portrait screen.
Keeps an eye on the door
The station alerts the gatehouse if the door is left open or someone tries to pry it off the wall, and can take a photo with each opening for the log.
Runs on the building network
Video calls with monitors and the gatehouse console, and door release, run on the building's local network.
Cards and faces managed in Space Engine
Residents' cards and faces are enrolled on site or remotely from the Space Engine platform.
Flush-mounted
A flush-mounted housing with a CNC-machined aluminium and glass front, operating from −30 to +70 °C.
