Space Master IoT
Passive IoT cylinders and locks for the intelligent building. There are no batteries or cables in the door: the Bluetooth electronic key provides energy and authorisation, and permissions are managed in the Space platform.
How it works
A cylinder with no battery
The cylinder has no power source and no wiring. It has a built-in cryptographic chip and dual authentication: mechanical and electronic.
Energy and authorisation from the key
The electronic key with a rechargeable battery powers the cylinder through three contacts, checks permissions and records the event. One key operates many locks.
The app and the Space platform
The key connects to the app over Bluetooth. Events reach the Space server, and permissions are granted in the Space Manager app.
One Space platform for every door
The system software is written by the Space BMS app and server developers, so it works consistently with the Space engine: the Space Manager app and the Space server. In one place you manage:
- departments, zones and roles
- an event log of every opening
- patrol and inspection plans
- offline key
- opening requests
- multi-level master-key hierarchy (2–5 or more levels, cross-keying)
- a construction key for the build and fit-out phase
Mechanics and electronics in one cylinder
The cylinders fit standard doors with a European or ANSI profile, technical cabinets and lockers. You replace the cylinder and the door stays as it is.
