Mingyang BIPV Standard Module MY-JL-B5 / B6 / B8 (CdTe glass-glass)
A frameless, opaque CdTe thin-film glass module of 1200 × 600 mm that replaces cladding or spandrel glass and generates up to 110 W.

Use case
On an office building, the opaque spandrel panels between the floors are made of Mingyang BIPV glass instead of ordinary enamelled glass.
From the street they read as one uniform dark façade, and the energy they generate supplies the building’s common areas and EV chargers.
How it works
Building material and power plant
The module is a laminated glass panel that replaces a conventional building material and generates electricity at the same time.
Three glass build-ups
5 + 3.2 + 5 mm, 6 + 3.2 + 6 mm or 8 + 3.2 + 8 mm, chosen to suit the façade structure and loads.
Stable output
Temperature coefficient of power −0.29 %/°C, 2.0% degradation in the first year and 0.5% per year thereafter.
